Our students have unique needs throughout the school. They all have different needs and abilities. We are trying to reach a wide range of students from ages 4 to 11 years old. This is where the use of sensory equipment comes into play. The use of sensory equipment helps students perform better in the classroom. Students at our school have a unique opportunity with use of a sensory room. The ropes and balance board will help provide the gross motor stimulation that they need throughout the day. Sometimes this is to get out energy, to calm them, or to just take a break. This will help us meet their unique learning needs in a different way.
