About my class

As this year is starting, I realize that my students will really benefit with being able to choose a place where they sit during work time. They will choose a type of seating, and a spot in the room that promotes their best learning! My students love to stand, sit on the floor, and sit in alternate seats I have available in the classroom. I have noticed that when kids work on the floor, they are using clipboards, but that doesn't allow for them to have their materials all within reach. The Surf Portable Lap Desks will allow my students to move around the room while still being able to have all their materials with them to complete their work. The stools are another option for seating in my room. I have a set of stools in my room that I use for my small group table. When we are not in small groups, I let them use these stools. It would be nice to have them available to my students at all times of the day.
