My wiggly students need seating to provide stimulation and promote higher focus and engagement in the classroom. One of the most important benefits from flexible seating is helping students become aware of their own learning process and what works for them. The addition of flexible seating will not only aid them in this life skill, but will give all the different types of learners in our room an environment where they can be successful. Students will have the option to bounce, sit on the floor, or wiggle all while engaging in learning. The Wobble stools and yoga balls will be used at regular height tables. The cushions will be used for sitting on the floor and at low floor tables. The Bouncy Bands will be added to desks and chairs in the classroom. Students will be able to choose where they learn best instead of being forced to sit in a hard chair at a desk for hours! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. With all of these seating choices, students can be comfortable while learning curriculum and the life long skill of self awareness.
