My students are at a Title I school. These students love the library and picking out new books to read. Being able to give students a new book each month will help students build their own libraries. Having books in their hands will give the students a chance to have books on their level. It will also give the students a chance to improve their reading vocabulary. These books will allow for success with future assessments and standardized tests which will mean higher test scores. Finally, these books will be taken home and give parents the opportunity to become involved in their child's reading.

About my class
