My students are excelling in all academic areas except for reading. I am hoping to provide them with a reading corner that is inviting so that their desire to read will flourish. The pillows, seat mats, stools, and bean bags will serve as a dual purpose. My students will also be using those items as flexible seating. So students can have a choice between pillows, seat mats, bean bags, stools, and regular school chairs to sit on during instruction. I have a lot of students that prefer to sit on the floor so the flexible seating will just assist them.
