My classroom is a Humanities classroom of fourth graders. We interstate Language Arts and Social sciences to allow a more intergrated understanding of major concepts. Any donations will impact not only my homeroom students, but also an additional homeroom that will spend part of their day in this spaceAllowing flexible seating options in our classroom will create the safe and family atmosphere that is needed for students to become their best. My students need an opportunity to have a variety of learning areas and seating so their focus can be on learning in a less institutionalized setting. We spend much of our time in cooperative and partner learning and this seating will allow a more relaxed atmosphere for the sharing of ideas and knowledge. This is an on going transformation to a more inclusive classroom space. This project includes 6 beanbag chairs that have back support and 6 oversized floor pillows to expand our flexible seating. Students will be able to self select the seating they feel is best for their learning environment. All of these items are easy clean for use in the classroom!
