The COVID-19 pandemic has effected all of us. Students, teachers and parents’ worlds were turned upside down when schools shut down under quarantine. In order to meet the health and safety guidelines that have been put in place, many of the normal routines in school have been disrupted. These items are meant to provide a more comfortable and supportive physical environment in my classroom. It has been my priority to make school a safe and inviting place for all of my students. Providing these items to my students would give them a more comfortable place to learn and grow. I have many active students who struggle sitting in their seats (this is the case every year, but even more so this year). The wobble seats, ottomans and floor cushions provide students with the ability to have more flexibility in their seating options. The padded headphones and wireless computer mice would allow students to more easily manipulate and interact with the online learning they are doing at school and, very often this year, at home.
