In the light of what is happening in our nation, I am fired up more than ever to equip and educate the young minds of our future. What we need to teaching in our schools is to love those around us despite our individual differences. I am hoping to accomplish this through literacy and exposing my students to amazing books. I have chosen 18 books on Amazon that focus on teaching acceptance, love, tolerance, and empathy. Many don't realize that these things need to be explicitly taught to our children. If we don't start them young, they will never be able to fully grasp these concepts. Please donate for a better tomorrow because today is just not cutting it.

About my class
