We are building a MakerSpace in our library to encourage creativity, collaboration, problem solving, and curiosity. We will have many stations of different interests to encourage the students to learn independently. Stations include coding, robotics, building with Legos, origami, drawing, writing, and more. This project will focus mainly on coding. Using their imagination they will be able to build their own video game from scratch. Bloxels is a great learning tool to do this. The experience will significantly help my students learn about coding while using problem solving skills and collaboration all while being creative and building lifelong skills.
