Hands-on activities are very important because it allows students to engage in fun learning while playing a game or activity. Students will use the "Can Do" activities to practice their reading skills. For example: prefixes and suffixes. These games provide fun, skill building practice and develops language and phonic skills. The High Interest Intervention Reading Folders will turn struggling readers into confident readers. This activity develops skills in vocabulary, recalling facts and details, and reading for meaning. Building Math Skills Write and Wipe Boards are double sided boards that allow students to practice with fractions, area, perimeter, and more! All of these activities will allow my students more hands- on practice.
