My Pre-K Class is awesome. They're a unique bunch of inquisitive, energetic and rambunctious little ones. They want to know and experience everything this classroom has to offer. After watching my students the first week of center time. I noticed the students both boys and girls thoroughly enjoyed the Legos, Play- Doh and dramatic play.
When students are engaged in centers,such as the Legos. I noticed that many students become frustrated because they are unable to build the structures they are imagining due to the lack of Legos that are available for a group of four.
The Play- Doh center is another area that I see great potential in my students. They enjoy making pastries, letters and numbers.However, if given more resources from the Play Doh family, it would open their minds to other interesting creations. The same could be said about dramatic play. Please assist Pre-K with these resources that are badly needed.
