My class needs active seating! Research found in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy shows that students using ball chairs are able to focus write more words clearly. Some students need more movement than others, and for some students with a sensory processing disorder or ADHD, being in motion allows their brains to be engaged. Moving to a new country and learning English is tough. Sitting still while doing it is even tougher. These innovative seats helps students with their posture, muscle tone, ability to burn off excess energy AND increase the blood flow to their brains!Please help bring our classroom up to date with active seating that helps our students be comfortable and engaged! My students are excited to be a part of our community and are excited to learn. Please help me obtain new seating to meet the needs of all my active learners!
