I plan on using these reeds to supply our students with the proper equipment without the stress of recurring expenses. We currently rely on our students' parents to supply everything the student needs for their instrument. This causes many of our students to be unprepared or even drop out of band class due to cost. With a small school budget, it is impossible for us to give these students the opportunity to succeed in music if they are unable to afford the equipment they need to play their instruments. In the past, if a student did not have his or her reed or the reed was unplayable the student had to wait days or even weeks before his or her parent was paid and able to get them reeds. These reeds will supply our bands for a year or more! Your donation will help improve our students' ability to create music, support the community, and enjoy their time in the band!
