A classroom rug will be beneficial for my students' learning during whole group instruction. By being in a centralized location, they can be fully engaged in our lesson. This sitting area will allow for more communication and sharing of ideas between students which contributes to their learning and understanding of content. This sitting area will allow our lessons to be fun and interactive while being close to classmates, the teacher, and any materials we will use. By being in this area during instruction, distractions throughout the rest of the classroom will be limited to students. This rug will provide a fun, finishing touch to my classroom which will give my students an enjoyable learning experience.
