My students are always getting great guest speakers. I use different ways of teaching social skills to my students so they can better interact with other students and also adults. My students all have the ability challenge of autism. They are really bright and they love science. My students are visual learners and use manipulatives to help them learn. These really fun students need a bright, yet not overstimulating environment to help keep them engaged in learning. My students are from a low-income/high-poverty community from many different backgrounds and cultures. Many of them are on free and reduced lunches.
