Getting school aged children interested in reading is definitely a challenge. First, you have the struggle of finding a book that will hold their attention, but then you have them complaining that they can't focus while sitting in their hard, cold desks. My project is to provide a comfortable reading environment where students want to read! I chose items that will be put in my reading corner. These items will be used during reading class, as well as free time reading. We all know that when we are comfortable while reading, we get truly invested into the book. How awesome would it be if my students could have the same experience!

About my class
