Concepts of genetics always spark amazing questions and conversations, and to have activities to walk through these topics will foster a deeper understanding for my students. These materials will help my students see science in action. They will be able to perform simulations that will allow them to visualize often difficult to understand concepts like chromosomal abnormalities and genetics. In addition, these classroom kits are used in small groups with other students. This will allow for collaborative learning with students and their peers. Our science budget is extremely sparse and getting these materials will help me perform my weekly labs and enhance my students' understanding.
