Each day in class, my students spend 20 to 30 minutes reading a book that they have chosen for themselves. In order to make the most of this time and ensure they they are fully engaged in their books, it's essential that my classroom library be stocked with a wide variety of books. With the fulfillment of this project, my students will have access to new and exciting texts that support a variety of interests and skill levels. With exposure to new texts, it is my hope that their thirst for knowledge and reading continues to grow as they develop as lifelong learners.
