This project will be my students' introduction to Robotics and Engineering. Through this project, they will build teamwork and social skills, as well as hands-on experience with programming, electronics and robotics. The mBot kit will help them learn about the different parts that make up a robot and the electronic parts of it as well. Students will challenge themselves and develop paths in which the robot has to go through with our 'Deserted Island' challenge while learning a lot about the coding language. This challenge will let my students make the connection with engineering and real life situations. From this project my students will develop problem solving skills they can apply to all aspects of their lives, as well as develop an interest in the field of engineering.
