At the end of each design unit my students are involved in a culminating project which requires reflecting on their learning and creating a way to present that learning to experts in the field. These presentations allow the students to shine. They are able to show their learning by teaching their newfound skills to others. Presenting to professionals in their field provides opportunities to converse in the language of the project. This color printer will add color and pizazz to their presentations and allow my students to feel like the professionals that they are. I have no doubt my students will go far, and practicing professionalism is necessary for this to occur.
