It has been such a journey this year so far in the field of STEM in our classroom community. Having more coding/robotic materials in the classroom will allow these students to understand their Engineering and Tech potential in an engaging and academic way. Being in a Title 1 schools, my students don't often receive the same materials or opportunities as schools in a higher economic area. In my classroom I try to take every opportunity possible to make the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as exciting as possible. However, my students need materials that are relevant to them in order to make connections and see themselves in this field. Osmo kits can be used with a classroom iPad to help students practice and expand on what they're learning in class in a technological way. the Lego Education kits will make a difference in my students learning by engaging them in critical thinking and social skills that they can carry on into their adult lives and education.
