All students should have access to current and meaningful texts that represent their life or the life of their peers. Mentor texts will be used both in person and remotely to showcase exemplary writing and storytelling to inspire students to write the best pieces they can. Categories of texts include narrative, opinion, informational, as well as grammar and language. Most anything can be taught through a good read aloud and the first step is having quality texts on hand!
