This first grade classroom contains the bright young minds that are going to be our tomorrow. They are a rambunctious group that have a strong love of learning, a passion for reading, and the most wickedly funny sense of humor. Our class is located in the Fruitvale in Oakland, CA. We are a predominantly Brown and Black classroom serving over 98% kids with Free & Reduced Lunch eligibility. As such, we don't have much, but we make due with what we have. We are always looking to take our learning further and "make our brains grow" as much as we can!
