My goal as a teacher is to continually engage my students through experiences that make learning come alive! These resources will do just that! The FlashForge 3D printer will provide opportunities for kids to create math objects and bring their science inventions to life or, in our case, answer math equations using their own "homemade" manipulates while applying math and science principles. The filaments in colors black and red (our school colors) will be used to create different colored objects which make it easier to add and subtract numbers. I know that these resources will make learning come alive for my students, and having these resources in my classroom will show my students the real world applications of computer science. The materials included in this project will directly impact the learning experience of my students by providing engaging, hands-on learning opportunities while bridging the gap between the virtual and physical world.
