Selective seating will continue to enhance the flexible classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy. The openness of the classroom and their ability to select seating that matches individual moods and comfort level is amazing. Every student seat that is placed in my room is treated with love and care, and they are thankful for the option to choose. Each of these seats have been chosen with my students in mind. I have observed them over the past semester and know what they might enjoy. With flexible seating, my students will be able to choose from a variety of seat types that will allow them to enjoy comfort and choice, which limits distraction to their learning. The best way to increase achievement is to limit distractions and promote choice. Flexible seating will continue to help my students grow stronger academically. I am excited about the reaction of my students and their anticipated growth.
