Hi, let me start by saying that although I have not yet met my students (2 more weeks of summer left), I know that they are a group of eager minds and kinds hearts! At our school one hundred percent of the students receive free school lunch. Meaning that my students will depend on my classroom library to read a variety of books every night. Each student has a 100 A.R. goal that must be reached by the end of May, however since I taught special education the past 6 years, I do not have many 5th grade level reading books. I would like to be able to provide access to all of the high quality, high interest books that my students need to reach their academic goals.
