Our scholars are learning in a variety of classes including automation and robotics, medical detectives, and the science of technology. I teach using the PLTW platform so majority of the scholars' learning is achieved through hands on project-based methods. This year we will be conducting experiments that includes: making ice cream, collecting our own DNA samples, building and programming our own robots, and even using forensic evidence to find the killer! Our classes will be for the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade scholars at our school. Majority of our scholars do not have the opportunity to explore future career options on their own and are not exposed to the many options out there after high school. That is why these courses are so beneficial to our scholars as a whole.
