While my students are developing reading fluency, I would love for them to develop a love for reading. My students need reading materials that are engaging and allow them to practice reading skills. Most of my students are below grade level in reading comprehension and fluency. My students would LOVE to have books to read in my classroom. They are so curious about different books they see throughout our school. I would love to be able to set a 'library' time within my special needs classroom where we can work on books they actually want to read, not just a book the school's curriculum has picked out for them.
