The iPads will be used to assist students with both visual and auditory learning. Technology gives the students the opportunity to access information and learning opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach. For English Language Learners technology allows them to associate visual representations (in color) with the concepts that are being taught. For total, non-English speakers it gives them immediate access to translation programs that will allow them to communicate with everyone around them while they are in the beginning stages of language acquisition. For high achieving students it allows them to push their learning to higher levels. Technology allows the average performing students to take their learning to the next level through independent practice.
