For my second year of teaching, I have decided to implement flexible seating in my classroom. This journey will allow each of my students an opportunity to choose a seating option that will promote their BEST learning. For many of my students, this will provide more opportunities for movement as they work throughout the day. Movement promotes healthier and more effective learning. For this project, I would like to purchase 4 wobble chairs for my students. These wobble chairs will provide the option to move while learning for those students that need it most. I will use these wobble chairs as a flexible seating option for my students. The goal is to provide a new seating option that will help my students to focus on their work and improve their classroom performance. For my students who struggle to sit still, this will increase focus and maximize their learning in ways that a traditional chair never could!
