We spend so much time in our day passing out and collecting pencils and papers. The students really need a better system for keeping up with their school supplies and making sure they have all of the papers they need to take home. My students need a more organized classroom environment! If we could get pencil pouches for students to keep at their desks, mailboxes the students can place all their papers in in the morning and collect all their papers in the afternoons, and binders for the papers and planners being sent home, we could spend a lot less time trying to get ready for the day to start and end and a lot more time on learning. With the pencil pouches, I will be able to give each student a handful of sharp pencils, scissors, a glue stick, and a highlighter to keep in their desk and eliminate time passing out supplies. The student mailboxes will be to easily and efficiently make sure homework is collected every morning from each student, and to make sure each student receives any papers they need to take home. Finally, the binders will be used to send papers home and return papers to school, to keep the students' planners, and to send messages home to parents.
