My special education students would benefit from flexible seating to better enhance their focus, a carpet area for circle time and interactive learning and math manipulatives to provide concrete understanding of numbers and place value. My resource room is a place of familiarity and individualized instruction. Obtaining these resources will help enhance our learning environment. Your generous donation will help the students in my classroom increase their focus through flexible seating, wobble chairs and ball chairs. My students will have options that will allow them to move while they learn. The classroom carpet will brighten our learning space and allow for another place for students to work together an learn. The use of Base 10 Blocks and counters will allow for understanding of numbers and the value of numbers to make learning more hands on. My students are all unique learners. Teaching students in a low income high needs school offers an array of unique learners. Many of my students have difficulties focusing during instruction. These additions to our classroom will benefit their focus and learning.
