My students are special needs students who come from low income areas. They are not use to using technology because they do not have access to it in their homes. In their school, technology is limited. They have computers, however many find keyboards difficult to use. iPads would allow my students to become more familiar with technology and allow them easier access with a touch screen device. Having iPads would allow my students to learn how to use technology effectively in their every day lives which is an important part of our current society. These iPads would allow my students to be better prepared for their futures.
