My classroom environment is designed to allow students the opportunity to learn through scientific purposeful play. Implementing a sensory light table in my STEM/STEAM Center will allow my students the fun opportunity to enhance the learning experience through sensory play. It also will provide fun learning opportunities for creative tasks, fine motor development, hand-eye coordination, and improve their literacy, writing, music, math, and science skills. When exploring in this center, the kids get to work together, create and build visual images, notice subtle details, and it provokes creativity in kids.
