Many students in SDC classes can use iPads to help them communicate. They are also wonderful for when students are feeling overwhelmed with a work load and can take a five minute break to regroup themselves, all while playing an educational game. From math games to literacy work, these iPads will help my students access cirriculum in a whole new way. It will also make it easier for me to gather data and assess my students' individual learning plans. Keeping track of the needs of nine very different students is important. These iPads will allow me to use applications to ensure each student is making progress towards their goals.
