My project will make a difference in encouraging students to get up, move about the classroom and help mange their energy. Simple in-class activities can boost performance. Flexible seating can have students engage in their seating arrangements which can better transition times and even encourage group work with their peers. Students will also be made aware of how to use flexible seating as an educational tool to improve their listening skills during small reading groups, writing and their posture. Flexible seating in the classroom can also inspire and motivate the students to be more creative working in a non-traditional classroom environment.
