My name is Mrs. Hillary Snively and I am a fifth grade Mathematics teacher at Middletown City Schools located in Middletown, OH. I attended Middletown City Schools from Kindergarten-12th grade! Once a Middie, always a Middie. Middletown City Schools district is an urban school setting and is a "Title 1" district which means almost all students come from low income families. Many of my students live in poverty and often fail to have the necessary school supplies such as pencils, backpacks and even clean clothes to wear. My goal is to provide my students with an engaging learning environment that can help them reach their full potential so that one day, they can achieve their goals. I want my students to know that they too can become resilient and follow their dreams, just like I did. I want my students to know that their dreams ARE tangible, they just have to WANT IT!
