3rd graders are faced with an overwhelming amount of stress due to testing. One of the stressors they encounter is the state testing that requires them to type paragraphs. Most of them do not own computers or have any access to them. Having the Chromebooks in the classroom will allow me to give them time to practice and prepare so they can build up some confidence and eliminate some stress. We will have a regular center dedicated to writing. While students are learning how to become better writers they will also be learning how to type. When testing time comes they will be ready!
