A day in my classroom consists of direct instruction, where I am teaching the students math and science skills and I want them to find their own space to help them be successful. When I heard about flexible seating and the benefits it provides students I knew I wanted to give it a try. I want students to have the ability to be comfortable while they are learning, which will help facilitate an environment where they can perform at their very best. As a teacher, I notice that the desk and chair isn't always where I am most productive. By providing alternative seating I will be meeting the needs of all my students and their varying learning styles. My goal is to give them the opportunity to be most successful.
