The world we live in is a ever changing place. I would love to expose my students to current events that are happening all around us. By reading and discussing I hope to create a community of curious and reflective learners. TIME magazine in our classroom would allow this to happen. I want to give my students the opportunity to engage in real world reading and conversations that are at a level that is developmentally appropriate for them. Not only would it allow them to learn about the world, but it would give them the opportunity to practice their reading and comprehension skills.
