The students at my school range from eager book omnivores to real skeptics. A significant teaching goal each semester is that every student finds him- or herself engrossed in a book, finally convinced that reading is worth their time, Because the books in my classroom are constantly being rotated and checked out, they get worn quickly. Worse, my reluctant readers are often looking for a specific genre - and if they don't find it, they don't want to read. The books on this project list appeal to a variety of student personalities. Even the most hesitant student reader should be able to find an appealing title in my classroom! These books will greatly help to expand my library.
