I am very passionate about balanced literacy. One of the most important and sometimes most difficult components is shared reading. It may be tough to find 25+ copies of the same text so that all students can put their hands on it. It is also a lot of paper to run 25+ copies for each student to have. By funding my project, I will be able to guide and support my students by having an enlarged shared text to read. It will be projected on the Promethean board to facilitate their reading skills and strategies. Let's save the trees, fund my document camera!
