Students learn more concretely when they are using kinesthetic learning. The more they touch, hear, feel, move and are active the better they learn. Standing desks help promote greater learning and more communication between teachers and students. Greater peer teaching occurs when students are up and moving and conversing with each other. In a sedimentary society it is important to keep students up and moving when they are not typically at home due to the advancements in technology which are sometimes used as babysitters in today's society. Standing desks promote mivement which leads to better cognitive learning. There are also added health benefits that go with standing for many students. Help me, help my students grow in terms of education and fitness!
