Greetings from Ms. Self and The Selfies! I am a first year teacher heading into kindergarten at Bruce Shulkey Elementary. A majority of my students come from low socioeconomic families. I student taught at Bruce Shulkey last semester and fell in love with the community. Every student needs a special teacher to love them and shower them with educational opportunities that they may not receive at home. Some of my babies came to school every day in the same shirt and pants, even if they were growing out of them. I would love to create a loving and growing classroom. I have spent my summer searching high and low for materials to create a wonderful and educational space for my new babies to come. Unfortunately, it's just not enough. I hope you will find it in your heart to reach out a helping hand for these wonderful children. Thank you, Ms. Self and The Selfies
