I have 100 kids with a budget of $200 -$300 for the YEAR! Basically, that buys our paint, but We don't let that get us down :) We are a little town with a big heart I have a cabinet full of cardboard cut into various sizes that we use for canvases. We use old wires from the lights & pipecleaners for sculptures. Old stained ceiling tiles as a platform for large sculptures. Tons & tons of newspaper for just about everything, from basket weaving to sculptures, the kids are amazing! For competition and art shows, we make the most of our stash of construction paper for our matting. my goal is to buy clay, real canvases, new paint bushes, better shelving for work in progress, linoleum for printmaking, plaster of paris, maybe even get sketch books for them to draw in at home! we do really good with what we have, but i would like to be able to show them more!!!!anything and everything will help. thanks in advance!
