Currently our class library is small and our book choices are limited. My students love to read. I want to ensure they have as many books available to them as possible. Having a larger classroom library will enhance literacy and promote strong confident readers! Each day my students engage in independent reading. Students are able to go to the classroom library and choose books that are of high interest and on their reading level. These books will make a huge difference for my students. When students are able to make choices about what they read they become more invested and finish more of the texts they choose. Our class is working hard each day to ensure we are reading at or above grade level. I know my students will love having new titles in our class library!
