My students work incredibly hard to make their digital projects just so. When using a painting or drawing program, they want to be able to actually hold the finished project in their hand and show it to others. They can't understand why I just have to close it out, never to be seen again. They want their families to see the masterpieces they have created and want them to be proud of all their hard work! Unless I have a way to print a project out for them, this is impossible. Low income children feel especially proud of their work. For this, my students need a printer with black and color toner cartridges.
