Making students comfortable and giving them choices is a first step towards motivating them to develop a love of reading Currently I have provided my students with a few extra options for flexible seating for reading time. Every day students ask for the special chairs to sit in during literacy circle time. I would like to be able to offer more options for height, style, and texture to serve more than a few children at a time and to meet their level of comfort. I look forward to giving students different options that will make them feel more comfortable and excited about reading and learning.
