Nowadays competing with technology can be very difficult, I need a fun and engaging way to get my students to love reading and using Scholastic News and Time for Kids magazines allows students to read material that is not only rigorous but fun and interesting for kids. Finding books or reading material that students find colorful, engaging and can make connections with can be difficult, however Scholastic and Time For Kids provides this and includes an online version as well which would be extremely beneficial since my students all have a Chromebook. I know these educational magazines can really motivate my students love for reading!
