The addition of these Chromebooks and headphones to our classroom would enhance the learning environment immensely. My students are required to have 45 minutes a week on a reading program. Some of my students have never used a computer before or do not have access at home. It is vitally important to have dependable technology in the classroom for my students to meet their required Lexia minutes. The Chromebooks would specifically be used for Lexia instruction. As the students grow throughout the year, we will be doing more on the Chromebooks. For example, they would be able to learn the keyboard and how to type. With the addition of new computers, it would be wonderful to have dependable, kid friendly headphones for the students to use.
